Chemical reaction

Chemical reaction is a film photographic collection of surreal visions which aims to highlight how the lack of personal and artistic decisions can result such irrelevant to the achievement of something beautiful or, at least, astonishing.

The term reaction has two different meanings: firstly, it refers to the concrete chemical alteration of the photographic film, but it also describes how the artist interacts with her work. In fact, this collection isn't the result of an artistic and personal action, rather a re-action, since the appearance of each image was neither premeditated nor expected and the only way the artist manifest her will is through the arrangement of them.

The question is: when the chemistry of analogue photography meets reality, who is the real artist?
